What is Rybelsus?
Rybelsus is a medication used to aid weight loss and contains Semaglutide, which is the same active ingredient found in Ozempic.

Although it is licensed primarily as a treatment for type 2 diabetes to help regulate blood sugar levels, clinical studies have also shown that it is effective in promoting weight loss by decreasing appetite. It is recommended for individuals with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher and should be used alongside a healthy diet and exercise plan.

What dosages of Rybelsus are available?
Rybelsus tablets come in three different dosages: 3mg, 7mg, and 14mg. To achieve a sustainable and healthy weight loss, the dosage is gradually increased over time, starting with a 3mg dosage during the initial phase. After a stable condition is achieved and maintained for at least one month, you can progress to the 7mg dosage. Staying on the 7mg dosage is acceptable, but your doctor may recommend an increase to 14mg after being stable on the 7mg dosage for at least one month.

Under no circumstances should you adjust your dosage without consulting with your healthcare provider or doctor. The maximum recommended daily dose is 14mg, and if you have taken more than the prescribed amount, you should contact your doctor immediately.

If taking the maximum dosage of 14mg from 12 continuous weeks has not helped you lose at least 5% of your initial body weight, you should consult your doctor whoch will discontinue the medication and recommend an alternative method of weight loss.
